Premium Potting Mix For Container Gardening

Potting mix is the key to beautiful, bountiful container flowers and vegetables. Ideal for all kinds of indoor and outdoor potted plants, its job is to provide anchorage and support for the roots, as well as proper drainage, airflow and nutrients for growing plants.

Miracle-Gro Potting Mix feeds up to 6 months. Start every season outdoors off right with fresh potting mix. For your indoor containers, to avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, all plants should be repotted annually with fresh Miracle-Gro Potting Mix.

Easy To Use

Choose Container

Choose a container with a drain hole and fill about 1/3 full with potting mix.

Plant

Loosen the root ball and place plant into the container.

Add More Mix

Add more potting mix up to 1 inch from the top of the container and press lightly.

Water

Water thoroughly and let drain.

Spectacular Results

    So I ordered 2 large bags of this soil. I usually buy organic or if I’m on a budget I buy miracle grow soil.This was delivered early but on a rainy day. The box was wet of course. So as soon as I got home (6:30pm) I brought the box inside. Told myself I would take it out in the backyard in the morning when the rain is done.Welp I woke up to a few ants coming out of the box. Didn’t think much of it, took the box outside. Then I go to my food shelf (I don’t have a pantry) and there was ants.I have been living here for over a year and never had ants. I’m not sure how to get rid of them naturally because I don’t use chemicals. I’m really bummed out.I need two more bags but now I’m very hesitant to repurchase.Edit: they are in my baking supplies 🙁 got through the bags. These ants are bigger than the ants in my neighborhood. You cant tell in the picture. Apparently stronger too lol

    Incorrect product weight information

    The product looks good so was the delivery and packaging. I gave 4 star for the incorrect info about item weight, it says here 1kg, but it is 15 pounds. I ordered 1 cf size based on the product weight info so to avoid back injury. Ended up i got a back injury from lifting it.

    Good Dirt

    I have ran out of soil for my indoor gardening seedlings and was in-need of more. (Couldn’t buy in-person at any local stores due to scheduling conflicts thought my previous week.) The option of 2 really came in hand and is absorbent as expected. I am not expecting to run out of dirt any time soon and am thankful for this. Up to 6 months of nutrients, to which I do not need to hyperfocus on until the time comes. Thank you!

    makes my starter plants really sprout well

    I have tried a variety of different brands of potting soil but I have to say this Miracle-Gro Potting Mix is absolutely the best and helps my starter seeds and container plants grow so well. I switched away from it last year because it was a tad more expensive than a different brand but I noticed the difference in my blooms and quantity of flowers. I had to go back to Miracle Grow products. I planted my seeds less than a week ago using this enriched potting mix and I already have successful sprouts. i will never stray again.

    I have indoor plants I needed to repot since they multiplied and started crushing each other, so I was thrilled to be able to order this during the off season!     A reliable performer with consistent quality

    I’ve been using this potting soil (as well as other soils by Miracle Gro) for years and have yet to be disappointed. The quality is good. It doesn’t match the quality of the ultra premium organic soils, but it’s miles better than the store brands for just a bit more in terms of cost. Works great in my outdoor planters. A good value for the price, especially if you can catch it on a price dip.To compare it with other size options, 2 cubic feet equals 51.42 dry quarts.

    Gray potting soil for a great price. It’s about the same. He probably get it from Walmart but counting income to your door. It is perfect for anyone that likes gardening and plants grow beautifully in it cause it has fertilizer already in the soil.

    I always garden with this.

    One of the things that my mom loves to do for her physical therapy is garden. We have a garden both indoor and outdoor for her so she is able to work on different exercises. One of those exercises is to put dirt in pots standing up in a stable manner. This is the soil that we use for our basil and sweet pepper plants. It soaks up water really well which allows the plants to grow very well. It is a loose dirt, which makes it easy for my mom to use during her therapy. It doesn’t have an odor, but it does have a few twigs. Those are easy to just pick out and put in our limbs pile.

    Best price you will find!

    These bags normally cost anywhere from$25-$30 per bag. These are massive bags full! I love using miracle grow for all my house plants, and to up pot my seedlings after the roots get to be too much for the starter cells. It has the perfect amount of nutrients for your plants to help them transition from starter mix to soil and to help them grow big and strong!

    Love this mix

    I use Miracle ground for my house plants and when I am growing my micro greens. It always helps my plants to grow healthy. Nice sized bags I have repotted one plant and have three new plants coming that I will be ready to report once they have adjusted from shipping. I will still have a bag left for more plants later. Yay!!

    A Planting We Will Go

    With the good weather starting to finally appear we have many containers ready for planting. We bought (4) packs which is (8) bags of potting soil so we think we’ll have enough for our vegetable garden and flowers my wife wants to plant. Many flowers we plant will help keep mosquitoes and others pests away. This is our first spring in our new home in farm country and we plan to make the most of it.
